Default 72' dark saddle vs. caramel essex

Can't find this anywhere on the internet. I have dark saddle deluxe interior in my 72'.
New carpets "cut pile" are available in dark saddle.
Better option "essex" (that should be more like original) is not available in dark saddle but the "caramel" looks closest to it.

Anyone here that could confirm which (cutpile or essex) material is closest to original deluxe carpet? Same color and texture.

Cut-pile is what GM used in the Custom Interior, or at least that's what they called it. In the description of the Custom Interior in the 72 sales brochure it says the following; "Underfoot, there's cushy cut-pile carpeting".
