Tom. Yes there are other considerations if your diy, but a shop has a lift and even at that the op shop was charging like 500 an hour shop time that's a rip off and there

Ill give ya maybe 3 hours tops if you have to contend with the dry sump oil lines but... on a wetsump car if you cant have the entire exhaust on and off the car in less than 2 hours your just not trying. I'll give ya 30 mins if you have a stuck o2 sensor. Work on flat rate for a few years, you learn to get fast. You can drop the craddle and have the balancer off one of these things in 4 hours if your cranking... I'd work on a C6 over any GM car any day... you want to talk about a bad job try pulling/replacing the motor out of a TBSS... that one took years off my life.
