Well I got my new AMT motor mounts installed tonight. The factory ones made a heck of a mess when they started leaking. I'm sure all the new found power with the supercharger didn't help them at all.
The driver side went in no problem. That passenger side one is quite a bear though. I did manage to install them without dropping the cradle. Just jacked up the motor as much as possible, and had to unbolt the header on the passenger side to get that one out. Definitely not a fun job.
As far as the AMT mounts go, they were a breeze going back in with the single thru bolt.

And a big thanks for the comment about my car being one of the best looking on this forum. That means a lot to me.

Yup. I like my OE WHEELS C5 deep dish 5 spokes. Super easy to clean lol
Downside is they are heavy and the design makes the caliper to wheel barrel close and tricky to clean. I haven't found a thin enough brush to get in there so I need to clean the wheel then roll the car to get to the area where the caliper was.

They are easier if there isn’t a lot of nooks and crannies like some of these ice crystal, spider web, honeycomb wheels. I wouldn’t mind chromed OEM-style thin spokes, for example. Whoever came up with clear coating wheels probably got fired for making them too easy to clean.

I got the wagon wheels with summer tires back on, I so love them better than the thin spokes…. I know, I know…. I am special.
it is summer now in Sweden so I took the Corvette for a long drive on the Swedish west coast country roads.
feels good all the fragrance from the forests blooming…. Sweet…

Replica C6Z wheels are probably the lightest and least annoying to clean.

Only recently just realized that my head unit didn't appear to come with a built-in microphone so I had to dig out the external mic from the attic.
Figure this place works best because it shouldn't ever need to come off again nor move
It's a whole lot easier to voice-reply to text messages when the system can actually hear me

Having only a simple BT dongle for music/maps, I'm finding it super annoying unable to talk to text when driving. I have to un-pair my phone to the BT dongle, TTT then repair the phone for music since the dongle is in the center console and no mic.
I've been eyeing some Joying units that "float" outside the console trim with a volume **** for the simple reason I refuse to pay $400+ for a new double din center console and even at that, the texture doesn't match OEM which is disappointing.

I've actually been pondering putting a fresh more modern double din in my car. The current one is probably circa 2017. like to bump to something maybe from 2022 lol.

Had my first on track failure today. Completely died 1/8th of the way through my second autox run. Pulled off track and got it to run long enough to get to my parking spot. After some troubleshooting and Googling, I learned that the fuel injector rail mount can rub through the injector harness. Had it running 10 minutes later with the help of a few zip ties and fuse borrowed from a nonessential circuit. Gotta pull the harness to see how bad the damage is. In better news, my transmission cooler setup seems to be working pretty well, though I won't know how effective it is till I get the temp sensor back in place.

New Continental DWS06 Plus got put on Saturday. Not a huge improvement in road noise (maybe a lower tone) but hitting sharp bumps does help going from a 285/30/18 to a 259/35/18.
I got so used to looking at a slightly shorter sidewall I need to get used to looking at a taller one lol.

I was kinda surprised. Even with TC off the car has so much grip it is tough to overpower the rears. Car felt pretty good overall. Though. Jeremy Swenson recommended the setup with a softer rear to really dig out of corners early and it certainly was doing it.
