Smaller numbers in the younger age groups doesn't necessarily mean Corvette isn't making strides in that generational crowd compared to the traditional older buyer. At the NCM Bash Harlan said the C8 is the leader in its sports car segment for the sub-35 year old buyer group. So it seems to be penetrating the younger buyer market in a significant way.
The smaller number of younger buyers could be attributed to how premium sports cars are generally cost prohibitive to them and more accessible to older buyers across the board, regardless of make.

will be 80 next year. Sometimes I feel like 50, other times I feel 90, but in the C8, I am young again!

36 and grateful to be able to experience a car like this in my prime. Truly a great time to be a car guy, the second coming of the Muscle Car Era. Even though its only a 1LT non Z51 car its still more car than I thought I would be able to afford/thought by the time I could those cars would be banned. N/A V8, Mid Engine, DCT with a Targa top. I have not been a Corvette guy but this thing really sold me with what you get for the money.
And yes you are lucky. Cars were **** when I was 36 🤷♂️…. But enjoy now because unless things change these amazing cars will no longer be built in 10 or 15 years… Mary Barra has publicly stated she wants gm to be all EV by 2035… which would be tragic not to mention a horrendous mistake….

No such thing as “only a 1LT Z51”…. It’s so hard not to write a book here but gm benchmarked the Ferrari 458 and absolutely nailed it. Your 1LT Z51 is one of the best cars ever made… mid engine… 495HP… and with a factory warranty… on a car that the manufacturer explicitly says you can take on a race track and go nuts. And not void your warranty. This was all unheard of 25 years ago.

Hello all,
I am in the minority--I am 83 and one month. I have owned eight Corvettes over the years starting with 1962 through the present. I was a QC Engineer for GM when I purchased my 1962 at a very low considerable price. My favorite was a 1965 that was stolen from me. I have had every power configuration and enjoyed each of them. I presently am the proud owner of a 2015 C-7, Z06--( milage 43,000) much power, fun and excitement. I recently started thinking about selling it because I am finding it more difficult to get into the driving position. I drive it every Sunday for about 75 miles. It is my think tank and alone time! The car has been superb with absolutely no problems of any kind(I take care of it and treat it with great respect.) I may be one of the oldest to posess one, but I assure you I enjoy it as much as anybody can. If it's gone, I know I will miss it!

Almost 66 here. Pulled out the driver's comp seat and bolted in my Lazyboy after I took the base off. Miss the power lumbar now, though.
Overall, feeling good, looking forward to the next HPDE.

People say I am having a mid life crisis because I bought this C8.
My answer is always, "Let me tell you what a crisis is, being in your mid-life years and NOT being able to afford a C8."
