Question for the Convertible owners...
#21
I have one of each, a 2016 Z06 convertible & 2019 ZR1 coupe, by far the convertible is my favorite, it is much quieter that the coupe, but the draw back is trunk space if going for long trips, but I am a top down guy & to me the convertible is a much better looking car, top up or down. As other have said, you are either a convertible or coupe person.

I have owned 14 Corvettes in the last 45 years, every one of them a convertible. I wouldn't even be interested in a coupe.

Never owned a Vert, never cared to own a Vert, and just never thought I'd ever own one. THEN, I saw this Red beauty on the showroom floor (2014, 1LT, M7) and the rest is history. It's been 10 years now, no problems with the rag top and no regrets!!

This is my third Vette and fist Convertible, I will never own anything but a convertible from now on!!! It just makes driving that much more enjoyable. No issues at all!

I have had 3 C7’s 2 Coupes and 1 convertible. I found the convertible to be quieter when driving with the top up. The trunk space is very useable. The only issue, which I had on my 2005, C6, convertible is that 2 of the hoses for the top blew out. GM no longer made the hoses for the C6. Top Hydraulics had them for $200 a piece. I realize that you are looking at a C7, however parts availability for the hydraulic top could be an issue later on.

There’s nothing like a rag top convertible! I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I loved my C6 vert, looked great with the top up or down. Went with the C7 coupe GS because I like the look of it, and its to hot in AZ to drive with the top down during June-September, and too cold November- Feb. I personally think the C7 vert looks great with the top down, not so much with it up.

My first convertible was a '12 GS that I bought in '20. 10 minutes after driving it I knew I'd always have a convertible car. Traded that GS in for my '16 and it's been a fantastic car. I hope to be able to drive it for a very long time.
