Default Harbor Freight Daytona jack

Hello just wanted to show everyone that the Harbor Freight Daytona Jack works great. My Z06 is even lowered an inch and with jacking pucks no need for ramps to do simple jobs on your Vette.

I do not have that particular jack, but do have an aluminum racing jack from Pittsburgh Automotive that I bought at Harbor Freight. Been a very good jack so far.

Would you kindly post a link or picture? I’m tired of lugging the ramps around. If a jack is low enough to get under the front air dam, I can reach in and set a 2x6 block on it to raise the subframe. Does it have enough reach?

It's pretty long 👀 but I don't jack my car from the front, it's too low

This one here

I use that blue long reach one. I don't run a front air in currently because the car is up and down on jack stands. I can get the car 1.5 feet in the air on stands in about 5 minutes. Can go higher if I had better jack stands.

Will it reach the subframe from the front?

Harbor Freight changes brand names like people change socks. I have a blue US General jack and a a blue Pittsburgh jack. Now they’ve decided to label all of their jacks “Daytona.”

The blue extra long reach sure will reach the subframe from the front. That alone is worth the extra.

Daytona is their higher end line. They still make Pittsburgh jacks. I have a super cheap Pittsburgh 1.5T that I use for the track. My shop is a Daytona. Kinda like their hand tool line is now Pittsburgh<quinn<icon.

The low profile long reach is a great jack, but you may need some of those jack helper ramps that are like $60 to get under the plastic air dam. Depending on how gentle you want to be with it.

This Jack is 36lbs I can take this with me in the Vette. The Daytona long reach is over 100lbs great garage jack.
