Don’t buy powerstop rotors
So there was a deal on them and thinking well as long as I get a decent season out of it or at least half a season it was worth 300 something for a pair.
So these rotors have 4 days at Summit Point and on the 4th day at VIR this happened.

Looks like the standard brake system with one piece rotors. The failure is simply because they got too hot on the track. Likely would have been the same for OEM rotor of the same design. I would not blame this on PowerStop. You simply asked the system to perform beyond its limits.
Not sure what year your car is but you be need to upgrade the entire front system to the floating rotor design. That will mean different calipers. Floating rotors allow the braking surface to expand and contract separately from the rotor hub. The one piece rotor you have now cannot do that.

I still recommend the kns/dba cheap blank rotor. It look about the same as power stop and they also crack up eventually but at least they're a lot cheaper... https://knsbrakes.com/products/car/106212_2004+Chevrolet+Corvette+All+Model s/items/series/815

Mine is a 2020… I ended up getting a set of Girodisc 2 piece rotors for the front and the back. Hopefully that helps clear things up a bit. We shall see.
