67 vetteal
Hello All,
I am sad to say that my Dad Allan "67vetteal" passed away after a brief battle with what was his 8th primary cancer. If you read some of his post I am the son who has inherited his 1967 Corvete, thanks in large part to my brother who helped me ****** the car from a sister who made every attempt to prevent my Dads wishes to come true. The car is now with me in North Carolina, and will be passed on to my son along with a 1968 L78 Camaro.
My Dad bought the car for $3,000.00 in 1972 after Mom told him not to. I for one am happy he didn't listen to her.
Looks like my Dad was a member of this forum for 20 years and almost 3100 comments or posts. I have to admit the Corvette is going to be new for me, my Camaro is a the L78 396/375hp and looking under the Corvette hood, things are a bit different.
My go to is gone now, so I will be leaning on you all if you don't mind helping me out.
I know I will see my Dad again, and we will tear up those streets of gold with Chevy V8's rumbling under the hood.
Thanks for listening to him the past 20 years. I will now be assuming 67vetteal and hope to honor him the best I can.

Very sorry your Dad, Al, passed away
I see he last posted In May last year. I hope he lived a reasonably last year in comfort.
There’s lots of help here on the Forum for both your Corvette and any questions you might have using the Forum.

My condolences on the loss of your dad. Cancer is such an unforgiving disease.

So sorry for your loss. Every time you drive that '67 Corvette, your Dad will be next to you enjoying the ride with you.
Nice Camaro.
