Default Toyo Proxies - T1S - need advice

I am thinking of a set of these for my Vert. Anyone have any issues with these? Its too bad we don't have a supporting tire vendor that carries these. . . Luke can you help out at all?

I want decent durability, a good price, and all weather traction. I do some hard street driving - but mostly just weekends and road trips. I have heard lots of good things about these - especially when compared to the others in its price range (Kumhos)

Stock sizes, delivered to my door for $738 through Online Tires dot com.

Any reason I SHOULDN'T get em?

Kzoo, I don't recall hearing any significant negatives about these tires here on the forum (I recall one person thought they were noisy...) Based on similar criteria and needs to those you've stated, I put a set of Z06 sized Proxes (mounted on Z06 wheels) on my '01 coupe earlier this summer. I have maybe 1000+ miles on them and have no complaints. They are comfortable and quiet and seem to handle well, although I have not pushed them REALLY hard, nor have I driven them much in the rain. I got them through www.Treadepot.com, which provided a competitive price and EXCELLENT service and packing. I think I tried Online tires and got no response to a phone call message I left with them - I wondered if that operation is just working out of someone's spare bedroom- and so decided to go with a real business. Good luck.

I'm running these tires on my '94 using Z06 rims and I really like them so far. Unfortunatelly I've only had them on for about 800 miles so my experience with them is somewhat limited. As wamara stated, they are relatively quiet and handle well. I got caught in a summer thunder storm and it handled all that rain with ease. Hope this helps your decision. For the money I don't think you can go wrong with these. Good luck.

Thanks guys . . . seems like the Toyos have gotten pretty good reviews from those who have run em - but not many have run em.

I think I will see if someone local will match the tire price and then pick up a set. These runflats are toast but I can prob store it this winter with the EMTs and then put new shoes on the spring.

Any other opinions?
