Default Will this size cause any '79 fitment issues?

I guess what I needed to know is...will I have any problems at all with 245-45-17's on 17 x 8 TorqueThrust 2's? For now at least,I'm going with the same size at all 4 corners.I've already paid for the wheels on Ebay,so I hope they fit good,& I hope I dont get screwed over, either.

IMHO, the 17s will probably be about an inch shorter than the stock 15s were, so your main concern will be centered on the backspacing of the wheels. The OE wheels had 4" of backspacing, so if your new ones are close to that, or maybe a touch less, you should be OK. You'll probably have to check your speedometer calibration with the new tires, though.

You may want to double check that. I have a pair of the C-3 wheels in my basement, and I happened to be down there last night. I measured them, and they're 4" BS.
