can I run a 305 tire on my stock wheels??

I am going to need to buy a set of tires in around 5000 miles and was wondering if it would be ok to put some 305 wheels on the stock wheels??? There are 275's on there now. Thank you. edited to add, of course I am talking about the rear. : )

Well....what width is your stock wheel?
Assuming it is 9.5", the answer is yes, you can run the 305. It might not be the ideal match, but it can be done.
