Default Yokohama tires

Who has Yokohama AVS Sport tires here and what has been your experience with them?

Had them on my last Porsche and were great rain or shine.

What are you looking for in the tire? performance? ride? tread wear? noise? cost?

I just bought a set of used Z06 Motorsports, the Yokohamas were on there already. The fronts are in very good shape, the rears have another 5K left. I was wondering whether to stay with them, when it comes time to replace the rears.

We have a set of stock size rear Yokohama AVS Sport Run Flats.Down to the wear bars. We like the tire, so we are going to non-run flats in a few weeks........265/35/18 & 295/35/18.
These won out over Nittos..............didn't have the 295s

Depending on size you may not have much choice. I was kind of stuck with these as they were the only thing available when I needed new tires. I had waited 2 months for GS-D3's and couldn't wait any longer.

Yeah, so far I like them. I have 255/35/18s and 295/35/19s. The 19s look huge from the rear!

I had them on my '99 SS (275/40/17 in front and 315/35/17 in back) and I absolutely loved them. I used the car as a daily driver with them with no problems. Those 315s got good traction, too.

When I got rid of the runflats on the C5, I almost got these tires, but thought I would see if the KDs are any stickier. The jury is still out on that.
