Need a 285/40/17 tire (used?)

I have a set of like new 285's all around except right rear - bald -
Need a good used or reasonable new right rear 285 tire - if anyone out there has one, I would like to buy it. It is all I need to get by for a while until I go to Firestone Firehawks. (eventually). I have Kumho's on front, a phantom on rear (left) If you have an extra tire, please let me know.....

Mike, I don't know if you are interested, but I'm doind some wheel switching soon, and may have a full set of Bridgestone Potenza RE 730 avaialbe with only 3000 miles on them. Fronts are 255 and rears are 285.

Basically, I am going to 11 rears, so I may get new tires all around, but I'm not sure yet.

I've got a 285/40-17 gs-c I'l sell you, but I have no idea what shipping would be. Tread is decent, tire does have one plug though. I kept it when I put my gs-d3's on. Let me know if you want it, if so I'll send you a pic of the tread this weekend.

Nick, I sure sould like to see a picture of that tire - I do need it to complete the set. Freight on fedex ground is cheap and easy, I am in Tulsa, Okla. (74133). A picture and an Idea of how much you will let it go for.......

Hey TulsaMike:
Please let me know what shape the tire is in upon arrival. I need 2 rear tires for my 89 coupe. We are putting 2000 coupe mags on the car and gee the back tires are shot. Wonder why.....

Let me know if you have any trouble or not that you expect. I had no idea some place was out there like this. I really hate paying more for 2 new tires that cost more than my mortgage payment.

Got the Nitto yesterday (quick) and it is like new!! Not bad for $80!!
I would suggest to those looking for something like this to try the corvette salvage yards - they are bound to have lots of take-offs in good shape - a good deal for me, for sure-
