Default Lightweight c5 wheels

Just wondering what the lightest weight c5 wheels were in stocker sizes. Either OEM or aftermarket. Price is of issue too. :D Thanks.

The forged OEM 5 spoke or OEM Z06 rims are actually very light compared to a lot of stuff on the market. Comparably sized CCWs are about the same weight. I suspect you might be able to find a few lighter rims (Hart or BBS), but you're looking at either much more $$ or, I suspect, increased fragility for a street application.

I think VOLK RACING TE-37 is the lightest wheel available for C5.
You have to order a company in Japan though....

Yep, I just weighed my magnesiums with center cap in position, no tires or valve stem 16.88# in front & 18.88# in rear, so your 17# for front and 19# for rear are good numbers.

:iagree:
