Default tire ?

Anyone running Eagle GS-D3s? How do you like them? What about noise reduction?

I have installed about 4 sets on C5's and they are great especially compared to the run flats. There is zero noise because you don't have the tread "blocks" like the F1's you have a sweeping pattern just like the rain tires I saw them using at the 24 hours of Daytona. You also won't get the cupping action that you seem to get from F1's. After I where out the set I bought my car with I'm definatly going with the D3's the best tire out there IMHO

while the F1 GS-D3 is a great tire ... I seriously doubt it was on a car in the 24 hours of Daytona ..... it's a street tire

I think I was misunderstood, I didn't think that they were running GS-D3's just that the TREAD PATTERN looked very similar to the tread pattern on the D3's. That's it, they all had the sweeping pattern similar to the Yokohams AVS sport and the Goodyear GS-D3. :seeya
