Default Limited sizes in the Z06 tire sizes?

I was considering the Z06 sized rims, but I'm deciding to change my mind because the tires available for that size is very limited. I'd like to know what type of tires you guys are using. Any tires which are good that you can get under or just around $1000? Thanks, guys.

The Kumho MX is made in Z06 sizes and are well "under" $1000. I bought a set from Xtreme Motorsports for $750 installed. Here's a link to the 295/35/18 size:

The reviews I have read about this tire are very good. Do a search for Kumho MX and see what you think.

Hey, you're the first to give me some real info, but I happened to come upon the information on Friday. I went ahead and ordered the tires and wheels in Z06 sizes. Man, I can't wait till it comes in. It should be a world different from the stockers which were on the car. But they are not runflats, and that worries me a little. I hope that I wont run into any problems with it. Again, K, thanks for your help.

I'm glad I could help, sorry I didn't see your post sooner. Most guys with the non-runflats are making tire repair kits that have a 12v air compressors you can plug into your cigarette lighter and either a can of flat fix(although it will mess up your sensors) or a plug repair kit. This will get you down the road to a tire store if you get a flat out in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy your new shoes!!

Scratch the MX idea. It seems that they're unavailable/back order listed for now. I'll go with the Yokohama AVS Sports for now and get the MX's next time. It's kind of wierd, the first set of tires I've had on my previous car (BMW 328) on aftermarket rims were the AVS Sports. I loved those tires, but they ran out QUICK. That's the best choice I can think of.
