Any tips for clear-coating custom CNC forged aluminum rims. -whats the process -types of paints to use I already know about all the polishes, waxes, ect...

Not coated now, no never stripped.

sure u can clear coat them just need to be really really really cleannn!!! and dont buy no cheap can clearcoat it will yellow and peel u need a body shop or somone who can paint them with a paint gun !! they will shine for years to come !!! very very durable as well ya knwo ive been thinkin i wonder if they have a clear powder coat ?? :flag

Yes, there is such a thing as a clear powder coat. I had this done to my polished motorcycle wheels years ago. It looked good and seemed very durable, but it took a little away from the shine.

It didn't take that much shine away, but you could tell if you put a coated and an uncoated wheel side by side. Unless you have the time or enjoy polishing aluminum then yes it's worth it.
