Default Stupid question about wheel alignment

I know I need an alignment now, but will be getting new rims/tires in about 1-2 months. My question is if I get an alignment now, do I need one when I get my new rims/tires? I was thinking about just waiting until I got my new rims, but I think my alignment is significantly off.
Thanks for any responses

If the new tires are the same size as the old, and the new rims are the same offset, you should be good to go.....
