Default at what point do 315's become a better value over 275's

At what point (power, driving style. etc.) due 315's become a better tire then the same brand and model 275 tire. Basically what I'm asking is how hard do you have to be on a 275 for the 315 to be a wiser and better value do to more traction and less slipping.

Mike350,

It’s not the tire size that matters…it’s the rubber. I went to 335s from 275s after my mods were making too much power, and that didn’t solve my traction problem. I’m smoking the 335 as easy as the 275 I had before. I’m hopping that going to drag radials will help with traction.

If you are into drag racing, try the BFG g-Force T/A 295/35-18 on your stock rear rims.

I ran 275/40/17 all four corners for a season of autox. Now I am running 315/35/17 on all four for autox and there is a world of difference. I'm not sliding nearly as much unless I get real stupid (I do at times  ). I will not go back to the smaller rubber again. Besides, my class allows me to run this size. That also matters.

:iagree: The BFG-FORCE KD 295's will out perform just about any 315
