all C4 wheels interchangeable on all C4's?

i've heard of several stock wheel size combos for different C4's. my question is, is it possible to take a stock combo from one C4 year and use it on any other C4 year? i'm only talking about non-ZR1's.

i'm actually looking to get narrower wheels for my 92.

88-96 are same. Why narrower?

The base suspension in 93 (I don't know if that goes all the way to 96 or not) uses 17x8.5s in the front. You could put those all the way around.

all-season or SNOW tires for the winter. :D

i've already done it two seasons with dry rotting GSC's, and quite well, i might add. :cheers:
