Default Question about chrome wheels in general...

I've noticed that alot of the chrome wheels I see in the product catalogs look great in pictures, but it seems like the ones I've seen on the street are all much more dull in shine than what I expect. Have I just been seeing bad examples (wheels in need of polish?) or is this the way they are.

I saw a pair of HRE's the other day and the shine looked worse than my stock polished aluminum wagons.

are you sure the wheels youve been looking at are chrome and not polished. polished wheels if not taken car of start to look dull like you said and if they were chrome they may just be dirty with brake dust or just havent been cleaned in a while. :confused:
