After 25K miles on the original GY EMTS and some researching of the archives, I put the Yokohama runflats on my '01 roadster yesterday.
The Good years had gotten noticeably noisey. I don't remember if they were that noisey when new.
Just for the hell of it, I may go "test drive" a new car with new GYs to see if there is a noticeable difference.
Just from the short ride home from the shop where they were put on I noticed that the Yokos are much quieter and feel much smoother than the Good years.
I am happy with their tread design too.
Sully, thanks for your advice.
Luke at Tire Rack, you too were right on with your words.
Looking forward to testing the tires on the trip to the NCM in a couple of weeks.
I have the yoko on my 01 also and they are great.
You can really feel the difference on how they handle from a dead start and quieter and dont bump stear as much. I wish that I would have changed them sooner.
