Default 225's on a 7"?

just wondering if 225/55/15's will fit on 15x7" rims?

They're not for the vette

IMHO, they would probably fit, just not work at their best.

The recommended rim size is 6-8", so yes, they will fit fine on a 7" wheel.

The tire rack is a great source for info and tire specs. Go to http://www.tirerack.com then cliick "search by size". Enter your tire size, and find a tire you're interested in, just click on "specs". It will show all the tire dimensions, ratings, recommended rim widths etc.
