Need New Tires for C5 Long Distance Tourer - Recommendations?

Our 2001 Z51 coupe has over 23,000 miles on the OEM Goodyear EMT's. We are retirees doing coast-to-coast touring - no competitive events (but some hard canyon runs occasionally). The tire noise is getting worse - it was mostly at cruise on certain concrete. Now we also get excess noise at 35-40 mph around town on any surface.

- What tires are best for our purposes? (The run-flat feature seems prudent for long tours away from home.)
- Anyone in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area have a tire dealer or installer recommendation?

I just got a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Zero Pressure on ths past Sat. There is a world of difference over the GY's. They are worth the investment hardly any road noise anr the ride is tremendous. Check them out. :hurray:

Firestone, Michelin, Yokohama RFTs have all received good reviews. Drive over to the Tire Rack in South Bend and let them install them for you !!
