Yeah baby, yeah! - HRE 547R's.

Just ordered these bad boys. First, I was about to order 547's as I spent a day contemplating getting 18" in fronts instead of 17. But thanks to THEBIGDOG for starting this thread in the General Discussion Section http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=454519 and ZILLA for asking what the R series, I decided to call HRE to get more info. They answered my questions (BTW, great people at HRE for putting up with all my calls the past week). I printed out pics and even in a Black&White Printout, their is a noticeable diff. The spokes of the 547R extend about an inch further due to no step below the lip. The center is also 1" larger (per HRE). The rest of the design is exactly the same. I haven't seen these up close yet but it wouldn't surprise me if the new design makes an 18" wheel look like a 19. The R is for a Reverse Lip, I have 446R on my Supra, it gives you a little more lip on the wheel.
