How Good is Wheel Repair???

I bought a set of OEM 1999 wheels on eBay to use for track tires. When I got them one had a crack on the edge down to the bead seat.

Does anyone have expearience with repairing this type of crack?
Would a repaired wheel be OK for track use?
Where is a good wheel repair shop in So Cal?

Any damage to the bead area of the rim is NO GOOD,, DON"T USE IT! If you want a second opinion, call Bodymaster at 800-223-0171 They sell reconditioned rims. If there's damage to the bead, you'll pay extra due to not giving them a "workable" core rim.

that little crack could easily be tig welded but if it were my rim i'd buy another single rim off ebay.
