Default Screw in my tire...

I have a screw in one of my run flats and I am stuck on what to do. I only have about 19,000 miles on them and they have plenty of tread left. Here is my problem, I was thinking about going with non-run flats next summer but now it looks like I will need to buy one tire. The screw is on the edge of the tread and I don't think they will patch it. I don't know if I should just buy one run flat or get all 4 non-run flats.

I've got a nail in the right rear Goodyear. It loses less than a pound a day, but it's definitely leaking. Instead of paying someone else to fix it, I'll plug it with the kit I bought in preparation for installing nonrunflats. I've got 19,000 miles on the tires. Why not try to get yours fixed first. Much cheaper than a new tire.

Try a plug first then if it doesn't work then buy a tire. I keep a plugger kit in my car just in case something like that happens.

Just got back from the Good Year store and they were able to patch it! It was just far enough from the sidewall that it was patchable. :)

When I got a screw in the middle of one of my run rocks I put a plug in it from a kit I got from WallyMart. Didn't even have to jack up the car. ;) It held air no problem. Car traded and runrocks are gone for ever.
Wouldn't want to use the EMT's ever again. :seeya
