How wide can the rear tires be?

I have a '99 hardtop and I am fixing to stick some new tires on Z06 wheels and I was wondering how wide I can go on the rear tires. Are 295's as wide as we can go. Also, what is the opinion on drag radials. How do Nittos hook up and are they even made in an 18" size. Thanks for any advice.

I'm with you on this question! I'm lookin to upgrade to the widest tire that will fit too?
