I went there before trying to clean them myself and a guy inside quoted me $80 per wheel, he dissappered and another guy quoted me $95 and then I asked about chrome exchange and they quoted me $850. Shortly after I was discussing this a guy cam from the back and said these wheels are special and it would cost $125 per wheel. So in less than 5 minutes I went from a $320 job to a $500 job. WOW.
After going inside the wheel excghange thing sounded more appealing but became more and mor leary of this cheesey guys giving me such a job. He offered to do the chrome exchange for $850. I was thinking that maybe I should just try to sell these wheels outright and buy the chrome sawblades he had there on the shelf. I asked the price to buy them outright and found myself picking myself off the floor....$1500. WOW. You cant tell me they were willing to give me $650 for my cores! Well, I thought I would let a couple days go by and I just called them and I was quoted $1800 for the same wheels. I didnt realize that wheels gain value the longer they sit on the shelf. i need to get into the wheel business, if wheels gain $300 a day on the shelf.
Anyway....what a ripoff! Discount Tire was able to get these for $250 per wheel. Stay away from this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
