Default Try Simple Green on wheels

I have some older ZR-1 wheels that go on a 1990 Coupe. They looked terrible when I bought the car. Appeared stained, definatley flacking etc. I though it was a lost cause to even try to clean. So, I washed themas I washed the car, even tried some populer spray on and wash off types and still looked bad. Wouldnt get the stains out. Committed that i would just look arounf doe new wheels. Well I started looking and everything was too expensive.

last night I washed the vette and thought I would try Simple Green. Sprayed on and wiped with a clean rag. Low and behold.....clean as new. All the stains came off! Now I still have flacking etc but wheels look like new from a distance so this delayed my $1000 purchase for awhile. Give it a try!

Just make sure you rinse it all off - Simple Green will accelerate corrosion of aluminum parts (check the FAQ section on their website). I'll only use it if the wheels are off the car.

Lot of folks don't realize this when they hose down their motors as well.
