I never claimed to be a rocket scientist and need some education and some clarification on the changes that need to be made when you change the size of the rim that use.
Looks like the replacement for my corvette is in the distant future so I am allready planning my upgrades for the Z06 when we pull the trigger and place the order.
I know that the stock wheels and tires for the Z06  are:
Front: 17 x9.5 with 265/40zr17s
Rear: 18x10 with 295/35zr18s
My question is if I start to increase the rim size on the car how much am I going to have to decrease the sidewall height of the tire itself. I am considering 2 options for upgrades.
Option 1 is 18s on the front and 19s on the rear
Option 2 is 19s on the front and 20s on the rear
I know that you need to try to maintain the same over height but to be honest I havent a clue as to what tire sizes will do that with the rim options that I am considering.
The other question that I have is what is the widest rims that you can go on the Z06 while keeping the tires under the fenders and not having them rub during suspension travel or turning. I know that I could talk to the place that I will end up buying the rims and tires from but I would rather have the numbers up front so I know what kind of price I will be looking at.
