Default Brushed vs. Polished ??

2000 Black FRC, with Standard Forged Aluminum 5-Spoke RPO QD4

Can these be high polished? If so, how much can I expect to pay?

Thanks,

I think the factory wheels are cast not forged Alum. But yes they can be polished.

I got the information off of c5registry.com, so I am not sure if they are forged or not, just what website shows.

Wolf, you're both correct (sort of). Painted '00 wheels were originally forged; a production change was made at some point wherein the painted wheels became cast, while the optional high polished wheels remained forged. If you ever see the wheels side by side (forged/cast), it's quite obvious.

That being said, what can I expect to pay to have them high polished ?

Sorry, don't have a clue. You might try looking in the classified section of Autoweek. There are two or three wheel repair places that advertise there that also do polishing. I would imagine they could give you an idea of what it would cost.
