Default Need help in deciding best tire sizing for daily driver C4

I want to switch to the Z06 wheel on the 96, but can't decide between 18x9.5 on all four corners with 275's or 17" in the front and 18" in the rear.

The car drives great with the factory set up and I don't want to have to start playing around with all the front end settings if I don't have to.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

On an 85 I owned before my ZR-1,I had OZ Monte Carlo 17x8 1/2 front wheels w/BFG 275/40/17 tires and 18x10 rear wheels w/BFG 295/35/18 tires.
That combo fit great, looked great, and worked great. There's nothing wrong with a 17/18 combo and the alignment doesn't have to be changed.

I have a set of ROH 17x9.5's on my '87 with the '89 offset. With this much offset I can run 315/35's and they look just perfect on the car as far as how much they stick out. If I'd have used the '87 offset, I wouldn't be able to use the 315's because it would look like a slot car. Nothing rubs or drags and it puts a serious amount of meat under the car, more than C5's. (se below).
FWIW,

BIG JIM
