As far as I know, nothing is made in a 315/35 18. Michilen now makes the Piolit Sports in 315/30 18. That and the PZero are the only two I know of.

Incorrect.

The only two choices you have for 315s are the Pirelli PZero Rosso or the newly released Goodyear Supercar Tires

Michelin does not produce a 315 in 18" sizes. I have sent a letter to michelin asking if they intend to produce these in 18" and am waiting for a response

I check w/ the tirerack on the pilot sport 315 30 18. It is available as special order, it's a Porsche spec tire.

The Goodyear SC tires are 315/40/18. Tirerack has them listed at $360/tire

I am still not seeing the Pilot Sports in 315/18. Tirerack does not show the size anywhere and Michelin's own web page does not show a 315. If you could post a link I would be really curious to see this since I would love it if the Pilot Sports were available in an 18

You have to call them, they're about $320. I also checked w/ NTB & they can order them too & believe it or not willing to match tirerack price.

BTW you think this combo will work 315 40 18 rear (275 or 285) 40 18 front. The rear will be 16mm higher in profile, about .6 inches. Overall height will be about 1.2 inches taller than the front.
I don't really want to go to a 30 profile tire.

Honestly the ideal hieghts for 18" rims would be 275or285/35/18 and 315/30/18

I think 40 front and 35 rear would work. I just dont like how tall a 40 series would be on a 315
