cheaper... getting originals chromed or buying....

I have seen a couple of cars with the original rims for my car chromed and liked the look.
I have an 87 with the 9.5s all the way around.
would it be cheaper to purchase another set already chromed (do they still make these for my year?) or have my originals chromed?
anyone with experience on this subject?

I talked to a guy that had his c5 wheels cromed cost him $70 a wheel. Most manufacturers charge $100 or more for the upgrade from polished to crome.
