Anyone have experience with the Pilot® Sport A/S Plus?
I was hoping the new A/S came in ZP too but since they don't I went with the Pilot Sport A/S Plus. I've had them a few months now and they are a great tire. Much quieter and better riding than the OEM tires I had. Grip has been great for me.

They are great tires so far. Haven't pushed them hard yet, but they are much smoother riding than the previous Pilot A/S 3's. Sidewalls are softer and the roadnoise from non-directional tread is remarkably quieter. For an overall general use tire thats a notch above typical driving - these are a great value. Would purchase again if I had the option.

I got the new TPM's installed & had my local GMC dealership put the tires on New Years Eve..........I installed them on the 97' on New years Day and took it for a spin.
Some pics 1st.........
$42 each shipped new off FleaBay, retrain just like OEM with a magnet & DIC buttons.

Some pics of the tires..........

A/S3 on the left...........PSS on the right......

Least amount of weight was 1/2 oz. on 1 wheel, worse 1/2 oz & 3/4oz.
These are a little quieter than the PSSs and ride very well, a little better than the PSSs on rough road.
On a sunny 45 deg day after the tires were warm......the PSSs do sticker a little better than the A/S 3s
More testing to come .......time for dinner!

So I am guessing, with my Grand Sport, it would be sacrilege to put PSS on the rears, and A/S 3s on the front

What problems if any would this cause?

2 different compounds could cause some handling issues..........I do on occasion run different tires front to rear to test though.........
If I had to split, I would do the PSS rear & A/S 3 front

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing.

Sad that Michelin as well as other tire makers are dropping some of the wider sizes for those of us with 18" wheels.

Well this is what I just did. I mounted 2 285-35-18's on the front of my 2011 Grand Sport. So far they are absolutely fantastic. I'm really looking forward to the longer wear as ours is our daily driver and we have 68,000 miles on it and it's not even 3 years old yet. I keep my Nitto drag radials on most of the time anyway so mixing the 2 different tires has never been a problem. I just wish they offered a 345-30-19 size.
