Will AFS GS Replicas work on C5

Have a chance at some Grand Sport offset Replica's from AFS. These are the 17x11". I would like to bolt up to a C5 with a 315/35/17 BFG Drag Radial. Will this big of tire w/ the GS offset fit a C5? Help please!

The 17x11 GS off set wheel will fit just fine on a C5. Many guys use the GS wheels for racing, if it is at the drags, autocrossing or even road racing.

Go for it.

You will have no problem with the GS rear wheels on your C-5. They will stick out beyond the bodywork by about 1/2 ". Other clearances work fine, and there is the benefit of a smaller tire diameter which changes the gearing slightly.

The ZR1 offset is 36mm, while GS is 50mm, so a ZR1 wheel will stick out 14mm farther than GS, or about 0.6" farther.

The OE wheels are supposedly lighter and stronger than the AFS repros (that's why I bought the OE instead of repros, anyway).

Hey thanks. The look is growing on me. I drove it a little and the tires are pretty wide and do "hunt" a little on the street. The are also heavier than the stock wheels which will hurt my ET's at the track.

THose are the MAllett 396 Wheels .... aka ... XMS Wheels from Xtreme Motorsports .... they are cool wheels ... check either of thier websites for pics...
