1988 16inch stock rims

I have one of the rare cars that have the 16 inch stock rims that were only put on some of the 1988 vettes. I am getting worried about keeping those rims on the car because they are hard to find from what I seen. Any advice would help ?

What are you afraid of? Someone stealing them or just the fact that they might get damaged?

It seems like many of the cars with the 16's upgraded to 17's, so you can usually find them for sale if you really want to keep your car stock. I have seen them on Ebay & here periodically, usually going for pretty cheap prices.
