Default Hoosier R3S03 - 335/30-18 -- or something else that is streetable and 'dragable'

I see Hoosier makes a tire in the size I currently run Pilot Sports. They say they're 'not suitable for highway use'.

Here's my dilemma. In a few weeks, I'll get my car back from Norris Motorsports. It's a 2001 C5.

The changes he's making?

ARE 422 assembled and balanced by Mike Norris
ATI Procharger at 12lbs boost
FLP Level IV Automatic
Tough to predict, but at a minimum, I expect more than 600rwhp. Maybe much more.

I already have the CCW street setup with Michelin Pilot Sports in 18 inches all around. 335/30-18 in the rear.

The problem?

I don't think that will be good enough. Even for the street, I'm going to have massive traction problems.

I'll probably go to the track occasionally, but I'm looking for the best possible combo that doesn't require swapping rims. My commute will be short -- so about 10 miles total a day. Little highway, but some on occasion.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,it really doesn't matter what rear tire you put on that thing,,you're going to serious traction troblems on the street. Maybe you need to have John at CCW build you a pair of rear drag rims & install drag radials or ET Streets on them for strip use.

We just put some Hoosiers on an 18X11 rim and they looked real good... a very sticky tire. I'd think they would hook after they are warmed up... better than street tires anyway... :)
