They are both very similar ... it may come down to price...

that's one vote for each of them! The car is Black on Black, If I go with the Kinesis I will use the standard finish, and if I use the Fikse I will go Diamond cut & clear coated! what should a good price be on both sets? I will stay with 17" all the way around.

By the way zora which exhaust systems do you have on your's? they look very clean!

thanks again,
Sean

Definitely gotta go with the FM/5's on a C4. Why? I'm not biased because I have them but because it truly is the wheel that GM shoulda put on these cars from the get go!! I saw a Viper recently that had the Kinesis wheels and they did look sharp, but the FM/5's are STUNNING! From a distance, the FM/5's and Kinesis will appear to be very, very similar. Up close? Forget about it! The FM/5 is more appealing to the eye and accents the C4 much better. I think it has to do with the shape of the spokes. The FM/5 has more of a "deep dish" look to it. I think this is because the Kinesis spokes curve more from the lug area in towards the center of the rim.

I've compared them both and my vote is for the FM/5. Plus, the FM/5's have individual serial numbers laser etched into them...

why 17s? Personally I think 18's look the best the whole way around on a C4

Oh, BTW, go with the FM5s

Hey you said it would come down to price. But I'm not sure what a good price is? Please help me make an informed decision on my wheels! what is a good price or deal on these wheels??? I still need to do a little research on this very expensive purchase.

thanks in advance for your info
:)

I think I remember paying $3200 for a set of 17" * 9.5" FM/5's. It was from a Porsche dealership within my area.

I'm in the market for another set for another C4 that I picked up so I was exploring options myself. Again, in person, the Kinesis just doesn't do it for me.. if it was much less than the Fikse's in cost, it'd be another story, but they are very similar in price.

Kinesis, I'm tired of the polished look, but I've been running Forgelines for 4 years :) Also being in Cali. repairing wheel should you curb will be slightly cheaper and quicker since Kinesis is in Cali as well. Both ar great wheels.
