Anyone want to help me pick a tire?
Mainly a summer cruiser, won't hit rain/snow often, I'll take another car if I know it's going to be cruddy out. I might hit the track a few times this summer, and I've got 429whp at the moment.
Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial 275-50-15 $197 (front runner)
BF Goodrich G-force 275-50-15 $187
Nitto 555R 275-50-15 $166
I've gathered that those tires go in the order I've listed them in terms of traction, and the list flips in terms of treadlife. Here's the loop thrower though:
Nitto 555R 325-50-15 $208
The Nittos won't hook like M/T's will when they are both 275s, but what if the Nittos are 325s?!?! There's only an $11 difference between the 2.
Would I be correct in assuming that the extra tire width on the Nittos would put them at the grabbing ability of the thinner M/T, and also last longer?
