Am I ok with 255\40,17 on 8.5x17" ?

Uh....excuse me sir. But 255 came stock on 8.5 wheels on 1996 base FE1 vettes. :D should be no problem at all.

This is what came stock on 93-96, not sure about C5s. Should be no problem at all.
