Default ZO6 Chromes and chage in ride?

I just mounting a set of ZO6 chrome repros in place of the painted wheels on my '99 Coupe. (Z 51 suspension) It seems like the ride is just a bit harsher than with the painted wheels. Assuming my butt isn't more sensitive than last year my, first assumption is the chromes are a little heavier and therefore changing the ride. Anybody experienced this differnece when changing wheels?

Assuming you used your old tires and kept the same inflation pressure, there should be no (as in zero, zilch, nada) change in the ride ........ but you'll LOOK a lot cooler!! :D  :yesnod:
