From what I've read, these are the best for street use, non racing. Everyone seems to agree that non EMT's are better ride and quieter for longer periods. Curiosly the Michelins are more for the non EMT pilot sport.

Question is, of these three, Tire rack rates two, (not the Nittos) and Firehawks beat the Michelins for quieter ride, less noise.

Anyone know if the Nitto's are just as quiet and similar ride? I assume both are also close for wear rating at 300. The price on the Nittos are almost too good to be true!

These are the only factors I'm concerned with since the Potenza would be my choice for all other characteristics. Actually I'd buy them anyway if it weren't for average life of under 20k miles.

Thanks.

Haven't had the Nittos long enought to answer wear questions, but for quiet and ride, they can't be beat. I found a better price on them at the time at http://www.discounttiredirect.com
