WTB: Wheels and Tires for Autocross (C5)

I'm looking for a set of wheels and tires to start autocrossing our C5. I just joined a car club in Rockford, IL. They do several high speed autocrosses during the year. I have chromed 2001 wheels on the car with GY runflats. I don't want to mess up those wheels. I'm just getting started, so I have very little experience racing cars and I'm looking for an inexpensive way to start enjoying our car on the track. There seems to be several people selling their stock 97-99 wheels for $300. What do you think of stock 97-99 wheels with no sensors mounted to some Kuhmo tires??? Suggestions from the experts??? Anyone have a used wheel and tire setup that would work with a 1997 C5?? Thanks. Look forward to your responses.

i just sold my 2 17" wheels for 150.00
i will sell you my 2 18" wheels for 200.00
they are off of a 98'
