Default FS: HRE 540 *Steal of a deal*

Hi,

I am selling my custom built by me HRE 540's. 17x9 et.47 and 17x11 et.58. 5x120.65 bolt pattern. Made for a Vette but I used adapters to bolt them onto my 2005 Volkswagen GTI.

I rebuilt these wheels with brand new ARP stainless wheel hardware, mirror polished stainless lips and refinished centers. The upgraded ARP hardware are not only the top of the line wheel hardware, but have larger bolt heads which give the wheels a much more agressive and attractive look. The centers are were sodablasted to bare metal and then powdercoated over with clear which gives an awesome effect of bright silver in the light and a darker grey in the shade or dark.

These wheels have no bends or curb rash and they balance out absolutely perfect. There is only one centercap as I never got around to buying a full set to finish them. I got these wheels for a deal and put sweat, tears, money and compramised a relationship to finish these. I'm looking for alot less than I have into them. Everything was built and tourqed to spec thanks to Vince @ HRE for all the information to make sure that these wheels got done perfectly.

No tires. Will include Chrome locking lugs, chrome valve stems. I'm looking to get $2300 OBO NEW PRICE $2200 (seriously OBO but no lowballs please) I do not frequent these boards as I do not own a Vette. But if you have any questions or intrest in purchasing please EMAIL me @ Still_deceitful@hotmail.com. Located in FL.

To bad they are not 18", Nice looking rims. Try posting in the Auto / Racing section as there are more guys in that section using these sizes.

I had these as 17's/18's on my C5Z... They were a fantastic wheel. Extremely strong and believe it or not really easy to clean. It's like brake dust just couldn't stick to them. Hit 'em with a hose and 99% of the crap just came off them.

Good luck with the sale. These are great wheels.

Thank you.

Yes these wheels are amazing. Super light and super easy to clean, just way too wide for my VW. I keep super great care of these wheels. These pics were taken this weekend in Daytona, You can see how well they are kept. I know some of you guys probably wont understand the streched tires though.

FYI, these are still really great wheels and EXTREMELY durable. These honestly would be best on a C4. Great rims that are durable and easy to clean.
