Default Refinishing my CCW Classics

My CCW Classics are in need of a refinish on the centers. The paint is starting to flake off. My question is should I go Glossy black, satin, or flat? Also, should I paint or powdercoat them?

I'd powder coat them in a black satin finish. Powder coating is much more durable than paint.

I agree! They were already on the car when I bought it so I am unsure what exactly the finish is. I called CCW and they said they only anodize them not paint. So I am unsure if someone had them painted or what!

i'd go with the satin finish, matte black is played out imo.

I had a set just like that, and bought them from CCW directly. I conned them into having a set of the black anodized centers powder coated in a "satin gloss" black, before the wheels were assembled. I figured that if any debris was able to chip the powder coating, it wouldn't be noticeable, because the base metal was black.

After it was done, they told me that their powder coater had a bit of an issue getting an even coat of the powder on them, and they had to do 6 centers to get 4 good ones. I guess they decided not to do it again, after the hassle of doing mine....
