Default Nitto NT05's with 640rwhp blown Z?

Anyone have any input on putting some 295 30 18 nt05's on my 02 zo6 w 640rwhp? I dont expect them to dead hook first, but will I get any decent traction with them or would I be waisting my time?

not complee waste of time/money. I had 305 nitto's on my 2001 TA with a little over 500 hp. Better than stock tires but don'ty expect them to hook. I was cutting 1.8 60' times instead 2.0-2.1 60' times on stock.

I was looking at the same tire, but decided to go with the 305/35/18 Nitto 555rII. I have a TT 03 Z06 and was worried about not being able to hook with those.
