Mixing kumhos and g force KD's
Since the Kumho' have about the same traction and cornering numbers, would I have problems with Kumho Victors on the rear and g force on the front? This is for road course racing. Cost prompts the question, i already have the front tires.
Thanks,
Steve

I just ran Kumhos in front and Goodyear GS-CS in back last weekend for an autocross. They worked out fine together.
I am like you, and money isn't floating around, so I get what I can. I got a great deal on 2 new 315 GS-CS tires.

Personally, I am aware of two instructors who mixed brands of tires on their cars. Saved them some money, right up until they suddenly lost it and totaled the car.....

Re: Mixing kumhos and g force KD's (Gearhead Jim)
I have run mixed types of tires several times at the track. Just be sure the rear tires have better grip than the front tires and you will be OK. If the fronts end up having more grip than the rears you can get into trouble in a big way.
