What wide C5/C6 wheels fit C4?

I have a '96 C4 LT4 6-speed coupe -- base model. I want to get some wider wheels for running open track/road racing. I'd like to buy used wheels to save $$$ and figure that since a lot of drivers upgrade to fancy aftermarket wheels on their new Corvettes, that there may be a lot of used C5 and C6 wheels out there for sale. Which ones fit on a C4, and what are the widest ones available. I think I'd like to to to at least 11" wide on the rear. Currently my car has the stock blade 17" X 9.5" rear; and 17" x 8.5" front. I am willing to go to 18" diamater if I have to, but not larger than that. Would prefer to stick with 17" if I can, but I assume most C5 and all C6 wheels are 18" or larger. Thanks!

You can pretty much run any C5 wheel you want, I used to run 18X9.5" wagons with R comps all the way around on my 92 as track wheels. Or, if you wanted to stay with 17s, you could find four C5z front wheels, which are identical in size and offset to the 17X9.5" C4 wheels. There was also someone with a blue 'vert who ran 18X10.5" C5z wheels all the way around that looked bad azz. Choice is yours
